If we know how to hear
Why don't we listen
Crying about curses
When blessing
We are missing
Our God waiting
With open arms
Exceeding abundance
Is what we be dissing

Why is selfishness
So much
Part of our game
Eating our shame
Then projecting
Our blame

All we got to to do
Is call on the
Name Above All Names
The One who is
Yesterday Tomorrow
And always the Same

Please allow you to
Introduce yourself
To He who is
Familiar with your pain
You got nothing to lose
Everything to gain

The Creator of all
Born in a Bethlehem stall
So He could converse
With we who are so small

You hear Him already
You know it is true
That gut reaction
You felt
When you were doing you
Was a warning
A leading

To the better version of you
