She was rude, but not prude, the woman who checked us in.We traveled 6 hours, our license did tell, but she was stressed so all she did was yell!!!! There are people for the room!
To say she rode a broom would not be kind, but smile she did not, until her boss she did find, there he was standing, just a few steps behind!
Now he is a jolly fellow, who walks with a cane, he may enjoy wine, cause he was feeling no pain!
A veteran is he, a retired man who played his hand well. He invested right, so now he entertains in his very own bar, each and every night!
He didn't change much, in that old B&B ... He added some rooms, so more folks could spend the night, most pay by the week, which is really alright!
The food is still Dutch and served in large quantities. I had mine with Rolling Rock, an ok local beer, but it hit the spot!
We danced with old people, who seem best at having a good time! That music from the 50s is a lot of fun! We left the dance floor before they were done.
An old B&B is the source of this memory provoking rhyme, 20 years have passed since we stayed at that place, for me it has charm and old style grace, yes even with the woman with the scowl on her face!
