What We Were Suppose to Do

What We Were Suppose to Do!
Times they make you if you let them, but some of us just forget them, and live like we were suppose to do.
Lead by the Lord in Life choices, ignoring all those practical voices, we did what we were suppose to Do!
A church in Fall River, that will never succeed, but 22 years latter they are still bending their knee in worship to Jesus Christ!
Too many kids and too little money isn't it funny what happens when you live as you suppose to do!
One blended family with love in their hearts, nothing we ever do will compare! I had two and she had three, her oldest 16 me just 29, but we took the dare and lived as we were suppose to Do!
Friends were reaped from that combination, the kind that always stick by your side! Their value added to me with each graying hair!
Then the Lord granted more, each child named before conception! Set apart for us from heaven as we lived as we were suppose to do.
Adopted two, one mighty girl, one that twirls with energy that is boundless, because we did what we were suppose to do!
Now we am reaping rewards from life, I have to tell you it feels real nice to live as I suppose to do!
Go to Africa, isn't that dangers, fly eleven hours, that is outrageous, but we did what we were suppose to do.
Preach to thousands in that land, start an orphanage to lend a hand because it was what we were suppose to do!
We swung that bat at other things that had their season, not everything last, God has His reasons!
We danced and laughed along the way! Fought in the flesh, what can I say! Sometimes we did not live as we were suppose to Do!
Trips to Israel for the wife and kids, not just to contribute to the tourist Bizzz! But to have our children's feet touch that Holy Ground!
25 years of real rich living captured for memory sake ! The stories we be telling and the voices they be yelling about old cars and Domino games! Clam bakes and Smores no sand indoors, blessed to we live as we suppose to do.
Jobs that started and stopped at the Lord's leading, leaving a couple had my heart bleeding, because my soul was invested in the work!
Hundreds of homeless people in apartments, new ones still moving in right up to this day. We had a few varmints but nothing to alarm us, as lives were changed in profound and permanent ways!
Riding a motorbike after fifty, midlife crises ain't that nifty, but we are seeing God's creation and man's great work in cities and towns, where beauty certainly does abound. It reignited friendship that can be tested as you do all of the above, it is just another chapter in doing what we suppose to do!
