Night's Contentment

In the dark quietness
Of my bustling home
All are safe
As I sit alone

Rebinding my commitment to

The diligent earn their pay
In wage, profit or creativity

All is not vanity

A deep breath
A prayer of contentment

Constructing a life
Without using blueprints isn't wise
But it is an adventure
When Faith is the central allie

Time for the second round of sleep
My family's long day
Is now complete
