Savior of All

Living close enough to the edge
That I watch souls
Tumble into hell

I know the Lord well enough
To say
He takes no delight
In their yells

You might call it
An abuse of Grace
But I now believe
Jesus died for
The entire human race

Born in circumstance

The length of life
A passing glance
To burn for eternity
Without a second chance
Is the sound
Of a devil dance

Not the work of a savior
Ripped open
By a Roman lance

A substitute for sin
To be nailed
To a cross
So grim

But the sound
Of of weeping
And gnashing of teeth
For timeless hours
Numbered in trillions
Is not justice formed
In the mind of him

All God does is redemptive
To draw souls to himself

He is just
He does not leave sins unpunished
But his mercy is bigger than life

Search the scriptures
Read the Church Fathers
You might conclude
I am right

A full heaven
And empty hell
Will be to angels
A delight

On that day
When all of humankind
Is made right

There will not be a tear
In sight
